We are offering schools across the UK a £1million lifeline, to save their indoor pool facilities and partner with swim an industry leading Learn to Swim programme .

Led by Olympians Steve Parry MBE and Becky Adlington OBE, the School Pool Legacy Fund also offers schools the opportunity to generate revenue from their facilities and contribute to the well-being of their community.

Physical and mental well-being is at the forefront of the news agenda, facilities are closing, funding is being cut and children are being denied the chance to develop vital life skills through sport. With this in mind, swim is committed to investing in school facilities, making swimming as accessible as possible to pupils and their local communities. We have already spent years investing in school facilities to ensure pools remain viable, whilst helping to maximise their value to the surrounding community.

We are on a mission to break down the barriers to children reaching their true potential. No matter the background or ability, we believe that everybody should have the opportunity to learn to swim and love to swim!

We are on a mission to see every child leaving primary school able to swim 25m. We are all about water safety, confidence, and community. With being led by Olympians, we want to inspire and give an opportunity to all children to be educated about water safety. We offer a unique completely free water safety Olympian assembly to primary schools. This is our chance to educate every child on the dangers they might face outside of the swimming pool in places like reservoirs, rivers and lakes. We also get to share our Olympic journey and showcase some medals too!

With 1 in 4 children in the UK leaving primary school unable to swim 25 meters we are passionate about giving all children the opportunity to learn how to swim. For some children, primary school will be the only opportunity they have to learn these vital lifesaving skills.

Here at swim! we offer schools exclusive use of our centres to deliver our national curriculum swimming lessons. We have a bespoke swimming programme with expertly trained teachers. The children will receive certificates to celebrate their achievements too.

Swimming is the only compulsory subject that may save a child’s life, we want to ensure all children learn in a safe and fun environment.
