Following the postponement of our lessons, we are proud to be offering all swimmers our new digital Rainbow Awards Scheme with weekly resources, activity videos, workouts, challenges and certificates to keep them active and engaged whilst at home.
In support of Children in Need, we had a ‘Wear Your Pyjamas to swim!’ week, where our swimmers and our team wore their pyjamas to swim! – some swimmers joined our teachers in wearing their pyjamas in the pool!

swim! are excited to announce that we are now an official Children’s University Centre. CU is a charity that encourages children across the UK to participate in extra-curricular activities in and outside of school.
They offer over 100,000 children aged 5+ the opportunity to experience a range of activities whilst logging each new adventure and even attending their own graduation ceremony!
Each year, the Fire and Rescue Service warn people of the extreme dangers of being around ice and open water during this time of year.
For children especially, it might be tempting to walk or play on the frozen water but ice over any inland water can be inconsistent and very thin in parts.
“Up to nine million adults - 20% of men and 22% of women over the age of 14 - are unable to swim” claims the national governing body, Swim England.
This means that 1 in 5 people in the UK that aren’t able to swim before their teenage years, never learn the lifesaving skill.
